Welcome to GL Chronicles! This site is a continuation of a
project I started back in 2001. Its purpose is to chronicle my exploration of the openGL API and share with visitors my successes and frustrations. The programming language used throughout the site is C++ and the target platform is Linux. As I develop the site, tutorials and detailed explanations of my projects will become available for perusal. A long term goal I have set for myself is the development of a project worthy of being entered into a big demo scene party such as Breakpoint. As well, I envision creating a monthly site competition similar to the now defunct "OpenGL Challenge" that was once coordinated by Otri. Entrants would compose an openGL project based on a particular theme and the community will rank the results.
